SHRED FOR THE CURE 2025

We’re excited to present our third annual collaboration with DJ Stewart, John F. Malta, and non-profit organization ‘Head for the Cure’. The ‘Shred for the Cure’ campaign marks a continued commitment to raising awareness for brain cancer and supporting research efforts with its built-in donation aspect. Since the launch of our first collaboration in 2023, Timeless has raised more than $58,000 for ‘Head for the Cure’. This year, we’re releasing a new limited-edition Flip Case & Battery Combo and a Timeless-exclusive Heelflip strain, developed in collaboration with DJ Stewart.

For DJ, this collaboration holds personal significance. As a brain cancer survivor and lifelong skateboarder, DJ has channeled his passion for skateboarding into a mission of advocacy for those impacted by brain cancer. As the Community Outreach Coordinator for ‘Head for the Cure’, DJ helps uplift the community and amplify the fight against brain cancer. He’s supported every step of the way by his wife, Erin, who became a patient advocate during his battle with cancer, and also works for ‘Head for the Cure’. Their shared mission goes beyond raising awareness; they strive to provide emotional support, guidance, and a sense of community to those battling the disease.

John F. Malta is the talented visual artist who has designed artwork for the ‘Shred for the Cure’ campaign since 2023. He received a silver medal in the Surface/Product Design category at the Society of Illustrators Awards for his 2024 Shred for the Cure flip case designs. While last year’s collection featured six designs, this year’s campaign focuses on one exclusive design that symbolizes the community element of DJ’s diagnosis and recovery from brain cancer. Malta’s artwork continues to honor the strength and resilience of brain cancer survivors, like his friend DJ.
